The Big Banana Fun Park, Gift Shop and Going Bananas Cafe are all open every day of the year except for Christmas day the 25th December
We open daily at 9 am and have extended trading hours in the Summer NSW School Holidays

Yes, we will do our very best to accommodate a new date for you to visit us. We will need to check our availability and we would require 24 hours’ notice where possible.

If you attend the FUN PARK in the NSW School Holidays then ALL attendees including spectators must have a valid ticket of entry. This is for the Fun Park attractions only and is due to strict capacity limits in these areas. This excludes retail outlets such as the Cafe, Gift Shop, Fun Zone, Opal Centre, Cheesemaking Workshop, Candy Making Kitchen and Reptile World.
If you attend the FUN PARK outside of the NSW School Holiday period then spectators may attend the attractions free of charge.
You must however all register into the park via the QR code at the tickets desk.

We do not offer a pensioner price. The ticket prices are adult & or child

Yes. If due to unforeseen circumstances you are unable to attend your ticket will be refunded in full. We do require 24 hours’ notice.

Yes, outside of the NSW School Holiday period you may choose to do just one of our attractions.
However, if you are visiting us in a NSW School Holiday period you must purchase an Unlimited Pass which gives you access to our park from 9am-5pm on the day you have selected and access to all of the attractions.

The train ride has not been available for many years. You can do a self-guided tour through the Banana Plantation as part of the World of Bananas attraction.
This is included in the unlimited pass for the NSW School Holidays or may be purchased as a single attraction outside of the NSW School Holiday period.

When it says we are sold out on the website it means we have reached our daily capacity limit set by the NSW Government which means we can not take any other visitors for that day in The Big Banana Fun Park attractions, this does not mean that you can’t still visit us. You are welcome to come and have a family photo in front of the “Big Banana”, play some games in the Go Bananas Fun Zone, enjoy a meal or delicious choc coated banana in the Going Bananas Cafe and browse at our huge range of souvenirs and giftware in our Gift Shop.
You may also like to visit Reptile World (entry cost involved), The Opal Centre, The Cheesemaking Workshop, The Candy Kitchen.

Yes, outside of the NSW School Holiday period you may choose to just attend the water park.
In NSW School Holidays the Water Park is only available by purchasing an unlimited day pass.
We will also be running Summer Evening Sessions every Friday & Saturday night in the NSW School Holidays.

Providing they are over 16 years old and have proof of age, teenagers may attend The Big Banana Fun Park with a valid ticket.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible guardian who is 18+ years old.

The Unlimited Pass is valid for 1 full day.
You must book your Unlimited Pass tickets online and select the date you wish to attend.
The ticket is valid from 9 am to 5 pm only.
The following attractions are included:
- Mini Golf
- Laser Tag
- Water Park
- Giant Slide
- World of Bananas Theatre & Tour
- 4D Ride Simulator
- Ice Skating
- Toboggan Ride
All other outlets are not included.

Yes there is an entry fee to visit Steve McEwan’s Reptile World which located at The Big Banana Fun Park and showcases some of the world’s most venomous snakes.
Reptile World is open every day (except for Christmas Day)

The Big banana Fun Park is open every day of the year except for Christmas Day. Many of our attractions are indoors. The only thing that may be affected by rain is the Toboggan. But once it stops raining this will be dried & fully operational again.

As part of your Unlimited Pass you can attend The World of Bananas Tour, The 4D Ride Simulator, Mini Golf.
All of the other attractions are not accessible if you are wearing a cast, this is for the safety of you, other customers and our equipment.

Yes, the Going Bananas Café is open every day and you do not need a ticket to go and enjoy the delicious menu, ice creamery and of course the famous choc coated bananas!!

The Candy Kitchen is located on the lower level of our central retail area.
It is free to visit and you will love the wide range of colourful, hand made treats!
Candy making demonstrations run from 10am-2pm each day.

The Cheesemaking Workshop is located in our central retail area and is free to visit.
Cheesemaking Workshops are an additional cost and must be booked directly with The Cheesemaking Workshop.

We certainly do accept the companion card here.
If you are visiting us in the NSW School Holiday period then you must purchase all tickets online. For the carer in your group please select a toddler (because then you won’t be charged) then when you arrive and produce your companion card we will amend the booking and give you an adult access band for the day.
When visiting the park outside of the NSW School Holiday period please see our tickets staff on arrival and produce your companion card. You will receive free admission to the park to provide support and care for your family member & or client. Our friendly staff will explain what is involved at each attraction.

No, not at all. The iconic Banana photo is FREE all year! We even have a little stand for you to place you camera on timer so your whole family can be in this special memory!

Yes there is a booking fee.
Tickets sold online to The Big Banana Fun Park are sold through FareHarbor which is a 3rd party online ticket platform.
Like many online ticket sales there is a booking fee which is collected by the agent providing the service which in this case is FareHarbor.
You will see the fee at the end of your booking before you select the pay now button.

The Opal Centre is located in our central retail area and is free to visit.
You do not need a ticket or an unlimited pass to visit the Opal Centre.
