At The Big Banana Fun Park, we are committed to ensuring all visitors can enjoy a safe, comfortable, and inclusive experience. The park offers a range of accessibility features designed to support guests with mobility, sensory, and additional support needs.

The park provides wheelchair-friendly access across key areas, including pathways, retail spaces, and several attractions. Many main facilities are accessible via step-free or ramped entry points, allowing ease of movement throughout the park. Some attractions may have specific access requirements due to ride safety restrictions, and staff are available to assist where needed.

🚗 Parking

Designated accessible parking spaces are located close to the main entrance, Water Park, Ice Rink, Café, and retail areas to minimise travel distance. The car park is designed to accommodate a range of vehicle types, including family and group transport. Coach and larger vehicle parking is also available.

🚻 Toilets & Facilities

Accessible amenities are provided throughout the park, including:

• Wheelchair-accessible toilets
• Parents’ rooms and baby change facilities
• Standard public toilets located near major attraction zones

These facilities are positioned for convenience across the park to support all-day visitation.

The Big Banana includes a variety of high-energy and sensory-rich attractions, such as water play zones, arcade-style experiences, and interactive activities. While these are designed for enjoyment, they may be stimulating for some visitors.

To support accessibility needs:

• Quiet rest areas are available throughout the park
• Staff can assist with navigation and planning a suitable visit
• Families are encouraged to plan ahead based on comfort levels and attraction intensity

We have been actively working to improve accessibility across The Big Banana Fun Park by engaging directly with our community. In particular, our Marketing & Tickets team has been consulting with local NDIS providers to better understand how we can tailor our experiences to meet the needs of their clients, ensuring greater access to enjoyable and inclusive activities.

As part of this initiative, we introduced monthly accessibility-focused events featuring a rotating attraction designed with inclusive and sensory-friendly elements. These include Laser Tag sessions with lights on and no flashing effects, as well as Fun Zone sessions without music. These adjustments enable participants to engage more comfortably and fully enjoy the experience.
